Sertoma’s October 15 meeting was a good one. Tom Elmore, author of A Carnival of Destruction, gave a great presentation on Sherman’s march through Columbia. The talk was absolutely fascinating and so was the slide presentation that accompanied it.

The Tailgate Fundraiser, Sertoma’s annual fundraising event around Carolina football, is less than six weeks away. Members were encouraged to solicit sponsorships and sell tickets to anyone interested. Tickets should be available at all Jewelry Warehouse locations by next week.

Joby Castine and Neil Sutker talked Carolina and Clemson football, and each did it in their own unique way. Joby parodied yet another song and Neil was full of facts and figures.
